Bridge City Classic Wheelchair Basketball Tournament

This weekend With Us was fortunate enough to attend a wheel chair basketball tournament with Adaptive Sports NW, one of the Portland Trail Blazers five key community nonprofit partners. Our Founder, Pat, and his teammate Noah Vonleh attended the tournament on day two (Saturday) and supported Adaptive Sports’ team, the Junior Wheel Blazers. Pat & Noah spent time answering questions with the team, warming up with the team, signing autographs for the team & taking pictures.

Adaptive Sports NW is a nonprofit organization that provides adaptive sports and recreation opportunities for youth and adults across Oregon and SW Washington. The organization connects individuals with teams and opportunities to play their favorite sports like basketball, kayaking, swimming, cycling, and rugby in every corner of the state. This tournament is an annual gathering of wheelchair basketball teams and will host dozens of athletes from the NW U.S. and Canada.

With Us works to provide leadership opportunities for young adults and children in sports that will lead to develop leaders in life away from athletics as well. There is no better way to show our commitment than by supporting organizations that promote similar experiences.
